Speech Language Pathologist – Clinician Trainer
We are seeking a clinician-trainer to enhance our dynamic team. The clinician trainer will be someone who is passionate about both clinical and educational services and will be able to work effectively in both areas. You will be involved with assessments; client services and program development. As a trainer you will be an integral part of the training team responsible for training volunteers; training health care professionals both on and off site.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current registration with CASLPO (College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario)
- At least five years experience in working with adults with aphasia
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written
- Experience in presenting and teaching
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn SCA™ (Supported Conversation for Adults with Aphasia) techniques
- Interest in working within a mediator model
- Work well and contribute to a transdisciplinary team
- Must have a car

Social Worker
This part time position offers an opportunity to be involved in the following areas:
- The outreach visiting program and partnership-agency training program
- Assist with intake and case management in consultation with Intake Manager
- Conduct assessments in a team with speech-language pathologists
Requirements:
- Hold an Master of Social Work degree
- Maintain registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- Have an interest in working with aphasia
- Have experience in providing case management, advocacy and counselling from an empowerment model
- Be flexible and creative
- Be a strong team player
