Caregivers help give the Gift of Conversation.
This holiday season, you can too.

During the holiday and always, we are reminded of how much of a difference the generosity of our donors is making in people’s lives. People like Jim and Bessie Kripouris.

Jim and Bessie’s heartfelt story is one example of how the programs, tools, research and education that you help fund is making a life-changing impact in the lives of people living with aphasia and their families and caregivers, enabling conversation, comfort and connection. We could not accomplish this – and they could not have those benefits – without the continuing generosity of our caring donors.

To help support our ongoing research, education and caregivers’ initiatives, donate to our Annual Appeal 2023.

"Volunteering at the Aphasia Institute has been an amazing experience. It’s such a great feeling to help someone express themselves, or help someone understand another’s message. It can be challenging sometimes, but that just makes the moment a connection goes through that much more special. More than anything, I really appreciate the strong sense of community that the Aphasia Institute creates and being a part of that community."
