Fundraise for Talk, Walk ‘n Roll – Aphasia Institute

Over 60% of our members receive a partial or full waiver for the Community Aphasia Program fees. Your fundraising efforts will go a long way to help sustain and enhance our programs for people with aphasia and their families.

You can fundraise by:

  • Joining a Team and fundraising with others.
  • Creating a Team and asking your family members, friends and colleagues to join you with fundraising efforts.
  • Joining as an individual and fundraising independently.
  • Fundraising in-person using the pledge sheets.

If you already created a CanadaHelps account at any time in the past, you may use the same account when you register to fundraise for the Talk, Walk ‘n Roll 2023. You cannot create two CanadaHelps accounts using the same e-mail address. If you have already registered to fundraise for the Talk, Walk ‘n Roll 2023 and have begun to create your personal page, click here to log back in to CanadaHelps.

Once you have logged in, click on the ‘Fundraising Pages’ in the right side menu, underneath Your Donor Account. Then scroll to the ‘Talk, Walk ‘n Roll 2023’ listing. You can now click ‘View’ to see your current fundraising amounts, edit your fundraising page or record offline donations.

You can fundraise for the Talk, Walk ‘n Roll 2023 by collecting pledges in-person.

One great way to get your friends, family and colleagues to participate, donate, and fundraise for the Talk, Walk, N’ Roll is to send them a quick note from your e-mail. A personal note can make a big difference! If you need help getting started, use any of our e-mail templates below. Simply copy the template to your e-mail, edit it as you wish, and send it to contacts from your address book.

Create a buzz on social media! Join us in spreading the word about Talk, Walk N’ Roll! By sharing our fundraising campaign on social media, you can help raise awareness and encourage more people to participate, donate, and fundraise. Whether it’s a post on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or Instagram, every share can make a big impact. We have crafted some images and captions to get you started!
